Job Title: Worship Music Leader (Sundays)

Location: Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3770 Bellaire Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110

Description:

We are seeking an energetic and inspiring Worship Music Leader to guide our congregation’s musical worship experience every other Sunday. This vital role involves leading engaging and heartfelt music as part of worship that uplifts, inspires, and fosters a sense of community. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for worship, strong leadership skills, and the ability to create an inviting atmosphere where everyone feels encouraged to participate. 

Work Schedule:          

- Every 1st and 3rd Sundays
- Planning and Rehearsal (as needed and as scheduled, may be done remotely)
- Approximately 7 hours every two weeks. Includes: Music planning and prep time (in cooperation with Music Director and/or Pastor), personal and/or scheduled rehearsal time, and Sunday Worship time.

Hours per year / FTE: 169 hours per year / 0.08 FTE

Position Type: Part-time

Salary Range: $35.70 - $50.00 per hour / $6,604 - $9,250 per year

It is the policy of Redeemer Lutheran Church to provide adequate compensation for services rendered and to ensure equity in basic compensation. Compensation determinations will be made in accordance with the Saint Paul Area Synod Salary and Compensation Guidelines and market factors.

This is a non-exempt (hourly) position.
