Pastor Mary Froiland
Pastor Mary Froiland
It is my great privilege to serve as part-time Congregational Care and Visitation Pastor here at Redeemer Lutheran, White Bear Lake.
I was ordained in 1985, and served most of my ministry in southern Wisconsin in a variety of congregational and synodical roles. In 2018, my husband John (also a Lutheran Pastor) and I moved back to the Twin Cities to be nearer family. My last full time position was as Lead Pastor at St. Mark's in North St. Paul. I retired from there in 2018.
After three years of retirement, I am happy to be back in congregational ministry focusing on the aspects I have always loved the most: visitation and pastoral care. I welcome opportunities to build deep relationships with folks and work together to build God's beloved community.
John and I have three adult children, a son-in-law, and 2 grandchildren, all living with or near us. We are also fortunate to have most of our siblings and their families in the Twin Cities. In addition to spending time with family, we enjoy cycling, camping with the grands, reading, going for long walks by the river, and quiet evenings together at home.
