I began as your Interim Music Director in Summer 2021. I was offered the Director of Music position in September of 2023 and enthusiastically accepted.

I am a native of Minnesota and my family attended the old “ALC” church. I studied at St. Olaf College and have degrees in sacred music and organ performance from Yale University and St. Olaf. I moved to Connecticut for a church position and stayed for many years.

I have directed and played in several denominations during my life. Lutheran, Episcopalian, and United Church of Christ (UCC). I have also played/directed in Reform Jewish congregations and am presently at Temple Israel in Minneapolis.

The Redeemer adult choir (RLC Chorale) resumed singing and rehearsing in Sept. 2022. We welcome all adult singers. The ability to read music is helpful, but not required.
